What Sets Us Apart: Classical Method. Clinical Mindset.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that focuses on core strength, alignment, posture, flexibility, and controlled movement. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, the method supports the mind-body connection, improves muscle balance, and promotes overall functional movement.

A Simple Analogy:

Picture yourself as a tree—feet planted like roots, core steady as the trunk, arms reaching like branches. If  the trunk isn’t strong and stable, the roots and branches can’t grow and move freely. Pilates strengthens the core, letting your tree stand steady, stay rooted, and let every branch move with ease.

Who is Pilates for?

Absolutely everybody -  Young, Old, Weekend Athletes, those with injuries, Chronic/ Acute pain, Neurological conditions, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents grandparents, friends and the list goes on.

The Founder

Lori NeJaime, PT, LSVT, NCS, MLDC
Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor, Teacher Educator

I’m a Physical Therapist with nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in neurological rehabilitation, low back care, core conditioning, and athletic injuries. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients in New York, London, Amsterdam, and Maastricht. From 2005 to 2022, I owned Nejaime.fysio.pilates in Maastricht, Netherlands, where I integrated Pilates into physical therapy treatments and collaborated with medical, allied health, and holistic care professionals to provide comprehensive treatment.

As a Comprehensive Certified Peak Pilates Instructor and Teacher Educator, I bring 20 years of teaching experience, over 500+ hours of Pilates education, training on all equipment, and ongoing continuing education. At my practice, I hosted a variety of workshops—including winter and summer sport injury prevention, fall prevention, balance improvement, pre/postnatal care, low back with core conditioning, and advanced education—while also offering Pilates group classes, personal training, and yoga.

Clients have included NATO personnel, Olympic athletes, Michelin Star chefs, and everyone in between—right down to a cherished group of Dutch elderly who trained with me for 15 years. I love bringing together the science of physical therapy and the movement of Pilates to create holistic, hands-on sessions that build strength, stability, and confidence in the body.
